About Us

Samba Sol was founded by five friends living in Miami Beach: Jack, Cory, Peter, Jeff & Carrie.  We love flip flops, and designed ours to represent unity that transcends geographical borders, and to honor the special friendships we have with people from all over the world. We only use the highest quality recycled materials, and we express our love of beautiful places in every colorful detail. We all have a love for dancing on beautiful beaches on the most beautiful of days, which is how "Samba Sol" was created.

Our love of exotic places demands participation in the fight to save them, therefore, sustainability is our main pillar!

Samba Sol flip flops are made with 100% recycled, biodegradable Brazilian rubber.  This material, called Bio Rubber, is biodegradable within roughly five years– as opposed to the 700 years that synthetic rubber products take.  We attack the environmental issue from start to finish, by crafting our sandals out of recycled waste, and ensuring that, when discarded, they return to the earth from which they came.  This year, our Brazilian factories will recycle over 660,000 pounds of rubber!
